Singles are Welcome!
The Lambdas started out as the only LGBTQ*-oriented square dance club in the Austin area, but we welcome ALL dancers to join us in our smoke-free, alcohol-free environment. Singles are welcomed and encouraged! Our callers use a variety of music—you'll hear rock, country, pop, techno, and maybe even a show tune.
Because our classes follow the standardized Callerlab dance programs, learning to dance with us enables you to dance with the hundreds of square dance clubs around the world that also use the Callerlab programs.
Club nights are Mondays from 6:30 to 8:30 at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 200 W Anderson Lane (US 183), front entrance (not gym entrance), in Music Room half way down the hall, park in front of building.
